Aurelio Marano
With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, my journey began at the age of 12. During my summers off from school, my father took me to his construction sites, where I worked as an assistant mason. It was at an early age that I learned the values of hard work, dedication, and team building.
In my early 20s, I started working on renovations in NYC. We tackled residential and commercial projects, including brownstones, apartments, restaurants, office spaces, and eventually began building homes in the outer boroughs of Manhattan.
In the mid-90s, I collaborated with a successful team of investors to restore hundreds of abandoned foreclosed homes. Concurrently, I was hired as a project manager to oversee projects in the Bronx and Westchester County, managing the completion of 20-25 homes a month.
Additionally, I owned a successful restoration company that handled major restoration projects after property owners suffered losses due to fires, water damage, and other disasters.
This exposure expanded my expertise in insurance claims, real estate, mortgages, construction management, and the financial aspects of the construction industry. It has given me the ability to create my own views and avenues, paying close attention to detail, and allowing me to become an advocate for my clients. Based on my broad experience, I can effectively and successfully complete projects on time and within budget. What I can truly say is that I love what I do, and the challenges I encounter drive me to work harder to accomplish my goals.
